What About the Isles?

The Isles have six games remaining in their push to taste playoff pooten, and besides a one-off where they host the #SabresMafia, they'll be facing some of the Eastern Conference's most competitive teams. The puck will be dropping in Brooklyn shortly, as the Isles kick their six game April-push off with a matchup against Sydney Crosby and the Penguins.

Starting today, and continuing for the next five, the Isles will have to fill the hole left by Hamonic's lower body injury. Zidlicky's no Hammer, but he's a veteran tool who has the experience that Cappy likes in this spot. The entire defense will have to step up as Syd and the Pens have hung five spots on their past two opponents. Berube's getting the nod between the pipes, and you have to like the call as he held the Pens to just one goal in the last meeting. JT and the boys didn't put the support on the board for Berube at the Igloo, but that changes today in Brooklyn. Look for the Isles to pick up a big two points, and a whole lot of steam for their playoff push today.

ISLANDERS (+105) 3 – Penguins 2
