Back to the Fitzy II

Move over Marty McFly, this is real life, and it's time for Fitzy McFly to bring everyone back to reality.

Listen, I get it. It's cute. Some crappy fiction movie that came out in 1989 had the Cubs winning the World Series in 2015. And now here we are, in the year 2015, and the Cubs actually have a "shot" to win the Series. Roll that up with the upcoming events like the 30th Anniversary Trilogy being released on DVD and the movie returning to the big screen for one day and you get a whole lot of excitement which means absolutely nothing.

What does mean something is the fact that the Cubbies bats can't handle the heat. Busta Bust Olney breaks it down with his piece on ESPN.com which highlights how the Chicago lineup struggles against pitches 94mph or greater and all the Metsies do is come at you with 94mph or greater STUFF.

So Bob Gale, with all that taken care of, it's time for Fitzy McFly to do the predicting. With the staff leader of pitches thrown at 94mph or greater on the bump tonight for the home team, I'm predicting a 1-0 victory for the Metropolitans. Look for the Dark Knight to go 8 strong and then cue the music for my boy to close it out.

METS (-117) 1 - Cubs 0

p.s. Bob Gale, a Cardinals fan, comparing watching them play the Cubs too..."mixed emotions as watching your mother-in-law drive off a cliff in your brand-new Mercedes"...is probably the highlight of this whole Back to Future hoopla.
