FantasyFitz's Week 3 Fantasy Minaj A Trois

Viagra Play of the Week - LeSean McCoy $6,500 (Bills RB)
(This guy is guaranteed to erect your point total)

Anthony Lynn takes over as the offensive coordinator in Buffalo, and it sounds like he is going to simplify the offense. To me, keeping it simple means giving your best player the ball, and Coach Lynn's best weapon is certainly Shady. With Watkins out, it could cause the Cardinals to stack the box, but McCoy and the Bills offensive line should be able to succeed in spite of the extra attention. By practicing earlier in the day all week, Coach Arians thinks he has figured out how to adjust to the timezone difference, but I'm not buying that the Cardinals are prepared for this 1 PM kick in Orchard Park. Shady said there is "not as much thinking" and "it's more about going out there to play" in this modified offense. That should be all of our strategies this week also. Don't overthink it. Let this RB1 go out there to play for your fantasy squad.

Viagra P.S. -  I know the Ram's defense kept Gabbert and hobbled Russel's fantasy points to a minimum, but I'm not totally buying them as a shutdown unit just yet. I think a $6,000 sans Dougie Martin Jameis Winston is eager to put on a top 10 performance in his opener. OBJ and Jordan Reed are playing against each other this week, and the duo has a combined zero touchdowns on the season. Expect that zero to change to three tomorrow. I don't know who catches the two, and who catches the one touchdown, but if you have them both, that won't matter. Both of them are going to finish atop their position at the end of the season, and they get on track to do so at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

BBW - Jay Ajayi $4,000 & Kenyan Drake $3,600 (Dolphins RBs)
(Blue Balls Warning - This guy will leave you painfully unsatisfied and wanting more)

Head Coach Adam Gase has no idea who is starting at running back for the Dolphins, so that helps me have an idea who is not starting at running back for my fantasy team. But what about the matchup Fitzy,?! They're playing the Browns!! Yeah. So did Justin Forsett and Terrence West last week. I don't care how easy a girl is, some guys still don't have enough game to bang her. The Dolphins offense will move the ball at home, but it will be through the aerial attack. Landry and Parker are good plays. As for closely priced alternatives to the Miami backs, look at Vereen, McKinnon, or even Artis-Payne.

Moped Ride of the Week - Charles Sims $4,900 (Buccaneers RB)
(This guy will be fun to ride for the week, but you're not going to want to brag to your friends about doing it)

Unlike the situation surrounding my mopeds, the Bucs' backfield has a clear cut leading man while their starter is out. Sims is going to get the chance to be the bell cow in Tampa, and that says something in this running back by committee world we are living in today. The Rams' rushing defense has good reputation, but my $6,000 top 10 quarterback is going to create opportunities for Sims to score. Plus, their reputation didn't stop an okayyyyy Carlos Hyde from having a good fantasy day in Week 1. Sims with one M is a solid RB2 this week.

Moped P.S. - With Rashad Jennings tagged as questionable, and potentially playing in a cast, it seems foolish not to pay $3,700 for Shane Vereen in a PPR format. I'm starting him as my RB2 in a PPR season long. The targets have been there, so my feeling is that Tavon Austin is due to break one. People are also rightfully avoiding the Rams offense, so we might have Tavon all to ourselves. I did not do it on DraftKings, but in normal fantasy, I'm not scared to start Dwayne Washington or Matt Asiata. You will look desperate AF doing it, but they both have touchdown potential.
