In their 1978 highlight film, the Dallas Cowboys were crowned "America's Team." Bob Ryan awarded them this title because "they appear on television so often that their faces are as familiar to the public as presidents and movie stars." I have no issue with Mr. Ryan awarding this title, but I do take issue with the fact that it is never defended. Starting tonight, and continuing throughout the rest of this season, the NYMWS America's Team Title will be defended every week! I was going to start this last week, but it felt a little too real for the Cowboys to put this title on the line against Washington. So here we are, in Prime Time, with the title on the line for the first time ever. The Bears get the first shot at the title. As 6.5 point dogs, the Bears need to win outright for the belt to change hands. Can Dem Boyz hold on to their title tonight at Jerry's World?
