Time To Beat Rex

Our guy Rex has to be confused. There are whispers in upstate New York that his job is in jeopardy. How could that be? He won his Super Bowls last season. He marched back into MetLife in November, and smacked the Jets. He hosted the Jets in early January, and he shut down their playoff hopes like I shut down women from Buffalo. So what is this issue? Ohhhh, the other 14 games? And the beat down he took last week from his former pals the Ravens? Ok got it. Well, like Rexy, my current focus begins and ends on a Jets-Bills matchup, and more specifically, tonight's matchup.

Most signs point towards this Jets defensive line containing any threat from Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy. That moves any concern towards the injured/maybe not injured Sammy Watkins. My belief is that Revis and the Jets have learned enough from last season's debacle against Watkins, and last week's stinker against Green, to do their job in Orchard Park tonight. With that taken care of, expect Gang Green's defense to really prove they are one of the league's best on the national stage.

As good as Rexy's record is against his former mates, it gets even better against the Jets' signal caller. Rex owns Fitzpatrick, but this is the best stable the Harvard grad has brought to fight between the two. Forte will pick up right where he left off last week, and Brandon Marshall is going to get involved in a big way.

After tonight, Bills Mafia may have a hit out on an 0-2 Coach Rex. Taking the lap-band out won't help his chances of winning, but it will make him a tougher kill for Bills Mafia.

Jets 24 - Bills 10 (pick'em)

P.s. Seriously Rexy, best of luck with the lap-band removal. You are one sick SOB, and I love that about you. Never change. I truly hope you and brother Rob figure it out together.
